Enchantments?

I can't get a handle on this. I can't tell which enchantment I can use on what. I have a few and nothing I'm wearing allows any of the enchantments. Actually, I may be looking at the enchantment crafting wrong, too.

There's a lot of early on enchantments that are jewelry only, which kind of sucks because there's no sub 11 jewelry to enchant apparently. There are a few armor and weapon ones, but I wouldn't worry too much about enchanting at low levels (assuming that's where you're at). Just try to experiment so you learn all the runes going forward.

I remember in Skyrim this was the same.
