Can anyone elaborate on what either one does? I had assumed previously that poison inflicts a DoT, and disease decreases the target's ability to heal, but the tooltip description of the poison morph for Snipe suggests that poison decreases healing. Anybody have any insight on this?

Vikova✭✭✭✭✭They are damage types. This is why a tooltip will say a skill inflicts "X Poison damage per second for X seconds," etc. It is the paper rock scissors of damage/resist.
Certain damage types may have a tendency to be used with certain types of skills, but the extra effects are skill-specific afaik.Edited by Vikova on April 8, 2014 10:39PM1
