Unknown Error when logging in

Every time I click play on the launcher, the game opens and I get to the log in screen. After I enter my username and password it loads for 2-4 mins and then says Unknown Error. It logged in successfully ONE time, and then after showing the loading screen for a couple of minutes said Unknown Error again and sent me back to the log in screen. I haven't even been able to make a character so I am pretty frustrated after spending 60 dollars and not having a lot of free time to play other than now sitting on a support forum.

Tuonelan✭✭There are already multiple forum posts regarding this issue. Some troubleshooting steps are in there, but frankly, for most people this did not work. Use the forum search function with "unknown error" (the search function is actually quite good!) and you will find them. No need to make a new thread.0
