Blessed Crucible, Vampires, Melee.

Long story short, on the last boss in this dungeon, The Lava Queen, her AoE that she does, is ridiculous, it's nearly impossible to avoid if you're melee, and if you're a vampire, like me, it may as well be a 1 shot, it deals, no exaggeration here, 99% of your health, followed up by a fireball, and that's not fun, it's not fun to get be unavoidably one shot because of a choice I made. If you're melee and you're a vampire, you are f***ed. Please consider toning down the bosses aoe, or lower the vampire fire weakness down from 50%. Either way, this is ridiculous and not fun.

This is ridiculous, we've wiped 6 times, I do nothing but hinder my group because I get one shot every single time, literally one shot, and there's nothing I can do about it, there's too many spikes, too closely packed together moving too fast for my little melee feet to avoid, and it goes out in all directions so it's not like I could just stand behind her, I've tried anything, the only way we were able to beat her was when I left and got myself a bow, and even then, the aoe is still too closely packed and hits, and every time it does, I'm a pain in our healers ass, because it takes away ALL of my health, save for maybe 2%. This is absurd.

the fire damage can be mitigated by Fire resistance jewelry , have you tried to get a fire resistance ring to help you mitigate your damage taken ?
I saw a vid on youtube , on how to mitigate some of that damage , basically if you max out spell resistance , and have a ring with fire resist , a decent chunk of that fire damage will be mitigated .

I don't want to sacrifice my medium armor for spel lresist though, and I don't want to forfeit my ability to use magicka based skills either (jewlery with reduce magicka cost) I would try the fire resist gear, but I don't know how to craft it, or even if I can.

While i can agree that 50% more fire damage is alittle much, you're just haveto learn to addapt and deal with your weakness if you wanto stay a vampire.
I had no problem doing this boss at range and when ever there is a boss like this, i suggest you slot mistform and don't take any chances.

You had no problem as -range- the aoe is MUCH easier to dodge from range, I had to switch out to a bow specifically for that boss.

Yeah, so what's the problem? Did you expect to have a 50% fire vulnerability and not haveto make adjustments to how you play?

Nope just didn't expect to get one shot. Taking increased damage is fine, taking lots of increased damage is fine, being one shot is not fine.

Its how mmos used to work and how they should work, some content requires different gear and some thought.
