PvE progression

I'd like to understand the PvE progression of the game. As I understand it, and I might be entirely wrong, it goes something like:
Am I correct, almost, or entirely wrong on this?
- Level 1-50 in your own faction's zones
- Do special challenging "veteran" level 50 versions of other factions' zones, partly for earning VR and mostly for the skyshards towards your skills
- Do Veteran Dungeons for entry level endgame gear
- Do 8-12 player "Adventure" zones aka raiding
Am I correct, almost, or entirely wrong on this?

tawok✭✭✭Mostly correct, but I believe there are also a few "raid" bosses that consist of instanced areas with non-instanced trash mob areas leading up to them. This is also where the leaderboards come in to play.Leader of Stand by Your Van
