Do you not think that it would be in the least bit reasonable to give an hour, half hour, 15 minutes then 5 and 1 minute warning to players?
Really, I would see that as being pretty well expected. We, as players, understand that maintenance is needed (we might not like it, but we do understand it), but to give players one minute warning is just blatantly reckless and displaying a sheer lack of concern to the playing public, which I do believe, just paid a pile of money for this game and you would hope are looking at maintaining a money stream to you guys by signing up for monthly access.
Pretty shoddy show Zeni. I hope that the interaction with players who are online when you look at doing maintenance will be addressed better in the future than what was just done now!

Basil_oz✭✭✭I'm not quite sure what happened. I was on, and then there was a warning in the discussion box in either French or German, and in the midst of it there was an Englich portion saying shut down for maintenance in 1 minute. It was in red text which was different from all other comments.
I logged out, but after my OP rant, attempted to log back in again. I was able to and played for a bit longer. Maintenance has just been declared on the NA server which I'm on and was done in a global format across the top of the screen giving 15 minute warning. That's what I would expect at least as a warning.
I don't know if it was a latent one minute warning from maintenance on the EU server. Strange!
So I retract my OP as we were given a 15 minute warning prior to maintenance when it actually did occur. I do feel that even an earlier warning as well as the fifteen minute warning (perhaps a half hour) would be useful as it may delay people who might be looking at going into a larger dungeon or area that they may not start if they knew there was only a short time left.NA Mega-server
