Number of addons limited?

Hi there,

yesterday I've noticed that two of my addons weren't loading (LootDrop and Wykkyd's Framework). Both were updated to the latest version and in the correct folder, both worked the day before.

After a restart Wykkyd's Framework loaded again, LootDrop still didn't show up in the addon list. I've disabled another addon, reloaded and LootDrop showed up.

Now is there a maximum of addons I can have? Maybe limited by memory?

Don't think so. Sometimes you may have to restart the client for the Add-ons to register in the Add-on list. It's happened to me on more than one occasion and sometimes it even takes me two client restarts for them to register.

I run 6 myself , no problems.

But the problem did not encounter again. Guess it was just bad luck.

It happened to me today with Sous Chef. I had to reinstall it to work. I guess this happens when some addons update. It may create some temporary conflicts between addons or something. Reinstalling the non-working addons worked just fine for me though.

I've over 40 and the game still runs very smooth with no noticeable fps drop.

The game's addon support is very robust and optimized. So no limit really.

Each one does use more memory, and the game like all mmos has some minor memory leaks, so you do want a pretty beefy system to be able to handle lots, but yea runs quite well even with lots loaded on a good system (mines ok, was top of the line 2 years ago).
