Unsafe Haven and Retaking the Pass

I know Unsafe Haven is all over the forums already but this quest has been "bugged" for a while now. At least fix it so we are phased when we go in or have it spawn very quickly and begin the ritual immediately, I can't progress in the fighters guild until it is complete. I have tried to wait until the less busy times when I am on but still too many people there. I don't want to wake up at 3 am to complete a quest that should have already been resolved.

Retaking the Pass is also bugged as you can't close the shadow rifts. I can't progress from Greenshade until this is fixed.

I enjoy the game and the quest line regardless but it would be nice to have these fixed.

I experienced the Unsafe Haven 'bug' in beta, and yesterday in live game.

The issue is so many people doing that quest at the same time because its the 1st major quest chain in the new zone .. so many people coming and going affects the spawn trigger for the event; add to that, players coming into the Fighters Guild and just wrecking havoc against anything they see without actually looking to see what's going on, makes it frustrating for everyone else who have been pationely waiting.

I left that quest at that point to come back to at a quieter time - this morning before work (about 9 hours ago) i went in there, and amazingly enough, the enemies were there waiting for me to interrupt them.

It should be seemless, I agree, and maybe its a coding issue that screws up the NPC spawn, but it is always possible to come back to those quest points at a quieter time (population wise) - for me I am in New Zealand, so 7 am for me might be when other parts of the world are sleeping, and it worked out well.

Well, it's 3am here in the US, and there are still people all over the place in here. And they still can't hold it together long enough to let the ritual start. This is seriously the dumbest bug I have seen yet.

Obviously the design team has never been involved in an MMO.

Griefers are just not allowing the is quest to reset, enjoying the game of 'spoil it for others'.

Can't believe something hasn't been done to fix it.

I do not see how you cannot progress from Greenshade. I could skip these and go to different zone easily since level of the mobs mean nothing. lvl25 nightblade breezing through level 40 mobs and quests.

They say theyve fixed both those quests in this patch now...so just wait and see when you log on.

This quest is bugged, and probably will be for a time, but a few quests seem to work once in a while. Just keep checking back and you should get it. Now Don't hold me to this, but a friend of mine who did complete it said that he logged out at the end of the day and logged back in early in the morning and was able.

I did this quest earlier today and instead of staying under the stairs listening to people cry about the trolls and people just running into the room I figured something was wrong, and it was. If you go into the guild and notice people under the stairs then your instance is bugged. Turn around and go out of the guild, log out and wait roughly 30 seconds to 1 minute before you log back in. Once you log into the game go into the fighters guild and check to see if people are under the stairs if you don't see the ritual going on in your face dead in front of you as soon as you enter the guild. This ritual spawns relatively quickly so you shouldn't need to wait for long. I personally logged off and on about 6 times, a bit of a drag, but it was better than sitting around for a few hours wasting my night on watching people yelling at others and sitting in the wrong place for hours.

You don't do unsafe haven under the stairs. As soon as you enter it should work.
