Please change 1-10 jewelery enchants to weapon or armor enchants instead

Hi Zenimax!

Why is it that more runes and rune combinations in the level 1-10 range most often wind up creating jewelry enchants, when there are hardly any 1-10 enchantable jewelry pieces in ESO? The only jewelry I've gotten so far was one ring for an Ebonheart quest, and you couldn't enchant it.

The amount of jewelry enchants seems way too high; please convert most of these to weapon and armor enchants instead, which are available either crafted or via drops in droves right from level 1 on!

It's really hard to a ZOS employee to comment (or maybe even read) a thread in this forum because it's meant for players. Unless of course the thread has been reported for moderation. I would suggest submitting /feedback in game. That will guarantee that they read it.

I second that this needs to be addressed.

On a side note, why isn't jewelcrafting a thing? It would make sense that blacksmiths would be able to craft at least basic rings and amulets out of ordinary metals.

Aren't there white quality jewelry pieces you can purchase from vendors? I thought that was the purpose of jewelry enchants - to customize those.

Yeah. It is. But the lowest Level of jewelry sold is Level 11. Hence the oddity that are enchantments that can only be applied to Level 1-10 Jewels.

Ah yea that seems like a design flaw/oversight then. Enchants you can't do anything with :P

It's been said that jewelry crafting is coming.

What @Shimond said. You aren't going to see much jewelry drop at the low levels, they are vendor items. That being said, you really don't need to enchant anything or even wear jewelry at that low of a level. You are going to level past it extremely fast and none of the fights need the extra help at that level.

Right, once you hit about 14 (which doesn't take long) you'll start seeing jewelry drops.

The issue is not whether those enchantments really change much. The issue is that that's the overwhelming majority of enchantments you get to craft at that low level, and then can do nothing with, other than break them down.

It just seems odd and out of place. The least they could do is add White low-level jewelry to the vendors. How hard could that be?
