Character texture bug?

Whenever i take of my helmet and put it back on it erases the texture bug but it will re appear after a loading screen..

I am having the same texture bug and have not been able to find a way to get the correct texture stay.

Howdy folks,

This is a bug from a debuff that gets stuck on a character. While it's not our favorite solution, the easiest way to clear this at the moment is to die while the bug is active. Once you revive, you should notice the texture issue goes away!

Here's my contribution. Toggling "hide helmet" on/off used to fix it but it doesn't seem to anymore. I'm not sure if it's an active debuff that gets stuck or just a visual thing, but you get "infected" with it when usually after death in Cyrodiil - probably has something to do with high crowded lots of lag situations. I noticed it on my Dunmer and Bosmer characters, not so much on others (but I don't PvP on other characters much).

The entire body (skin) is covered (look at face and hands) and clothes get influenced as well.

For what it's worth, after I posted above, I traveled to Cyrodiil. As soon as I used the teleport from main gate to Alessia the effect was gone.

Hey there everyone,

This issue was due to be fixed in patch 1.5.3, but due to some issues this fix did not make it in. When the rest of the fixes for 1.5.3 reach the server, this issue will be resolved. For now, it seems that death and resurrection is the easiest way to clear this visual issue. Thanks for everyone's patience!
