But it's fair because it's 1-bar! I mean, it's not like there's WWs running around literally invincible until a group of players attack them after minutes. No, that isn't happening. Definitely fair and balanced on Live.

You get all the Major buffs you listed and much more with Oakensoul. I’ll give it to you that the healing is virtually out of control (health-scaling heals should never have existed in the first place), but almost all of it requires you to hit with your melee attacks. Good Sorcs can run circles around wolves. Enduring Rampage is an ult, and therefore should give you bonuses (though it’s not like the health recovery is game-changing for PVP).

The most significant sources of WW damage come from DOTs, set procs, and passives/class masteries. You have to build WW in a very specific way to be truly effective, and if you don’t, you’re getting clapped all the way back to Hircine.

On top of all of that, both WW and the class masteries that enabled it are already getting nerfed. Yes, WW can be a problem in a lot of circumstances. But it’s not the furry nuke people seem to think it is.
