Greetings All

The Defender Gaming Community was established in 2006 back in Star Wars Galaxies ( SWG) with a goal to provide a Community hub for Jedi players on the Chilastra server, as the years went by and changes came and went the guild moved around and supported branches all over the gaming world. We defended the peace, trained an academy of force users. Patrolled the battlefields old and new, fought for the Empire and the Republic ina galaxy far far away

Our Community is international, from New Zealand to the UK, North to South America, Europe and Asia too. The majority of our players are Late Night North American and Oceanic based. Many have been with the Defenders for over 5+ years, and it has been a great honor to lead, play with and get to know them.

From SWTOR, Battlefield, LOTRO and now to here the Defenders have raised their flag and held their own among the bigger guilds. We do things our way, and have been known to achieve things other guilds said were impossible.
As the Defenders got older so did the members, while we still support RP or focus soon became more social.

We describe our atmosphere and set up as "NO SECOND JOB" by that we mean we understand life happens, we all have jobs, lives, partners and families outside of the game. We are not here to yell or scream at you for not logging in a couple of nights a week, we are here to have fun and support players not treat them like children.


We are a medium sized outfit who prefer a small size and operate under the motto
"We prefer names, not numbers' We prefer to run with 10 good people, then 100 random people no one knows

Our goal in TESO is to have fun, provide our members with a solid platform to help achieve success in the game. We are not prog focused, but we will do end game pve lik we have done in every other game. Done it our way with our friends and had a blast doing so.

We have always held our own and will look to do so here, contributing to both pve and pvp in a respected manner aswell as building a great community of players to have these experiences with.

We are a real guild of real people, we know life happens, and we do not pretend otherwise. We have had the highs and the lows, and we have stuck around to tell our tale.

As we look forward to growing and meeting new people and having great new adventures we are always willing to talk and answer your questions

As we near the end of the first week we are still finding our feet here and we are still looking forward with eyes open as the world changes and people get settled in.
Had a blast clearing out dungeons ( that were working) with members new and old, and many a hour talking it up in chat
Always on the look out for new people, but prefer names not numbers!

Another week plus down, and we have been enjoying ourselves
Organised our first Guild run of Cyrodiil where many members had a blast being able to work together as a single unit

We would like to note that we have run into many who tend to believe casual is meaning Teh lolbadslol to us casual is an attitude, a care free, laid back nature, not a skill level. As casual non hard cored players, we have always cleared game content, always held or own in pvp, and always managed to do things other guilds deemed impossible.

Our belief is that good people makes these games great, and you don't have to have the "Hard Core" mindset to achieve great things in game.

The shiny game feel has warn off, and everyone who was here for the fresh game smell has moved on, and we are still here.
