Quest Complete List (api feature)

Can we get the ability to track which quests a character has completed already please?

I want to write a 'quest complete list' addon, but without this feature it's pretty useless.

This would be very useful, and is a really standard MMO feature. I am surprised it's not already part of the game.

Quest progression is most likely saved like this:
Quest - Name/ID of the quest
Quest Status - The status of the quest, example 1 = taken but objective not done, 2 = taken and objective done, 3 = taken and quest completed

You would have to create an addon that can access the servers character database and pull this information... Thats not gonna happen

Only way is to have an addon pre-installed, then start questing and the addon will save the quests you completed.

Ah didn't notice that. And sorry about the short/curt post - I think I must've been suffering from forum fatigue.

Would be lovely, especially as I'm currently stuck on 61/62 in Shadowfen and no idea which Quest is the last one, so I can't check any database for hints.

completely agree with this, don't understand how they didn't already have this feature already implemented before releasing the game, seems like a very standard thing to have in the game

Yup, last I checked Skyrim had that as well, it was in your quest journal, wonder why ESO didn't have this feature.

Being stuck 61/62 for days, probably spent more time in that blasted marsh than I should.

Yes please add this. I love that the icons on the in-game map change appearance to indicate key places that are finished, but it does nothing for those little out-of-the-way quests you're missing. I'm stuck on Shadowfen as well. Even with a list of all Shadowfen quests from a website listing I am helpless because I have no idea which ones I've already done.

Yeah, it's complete bogus why this doesn't exist. I am one single quest short on the map and i can't find it. Everything is white, all is done, but I am still one quest short. there is NO WAY for me to find it.

I can personally only think of one single reason why they omitted this basic functions: they want us to lose time to find that last quest you missed, it's their messed-up idea of a time sink (together with the lack of decent search functions in the stores, the unfinctional layout of cities, the fact that you got to run all over the place to find quests, that you got to wait up to 10 minutes before you get the stuff you bought...).

I see no other reason why this is missing then it being a major time sink. Which is sad, really, really sad.

Yes, it is there. That is true. However a quest completion list could be done so much better and more efficiently. I don't really see what the harm of them adding it to a wishlist either. Nobody is saying NOW NOW, just please consider adding.

Umm, NO there isn't. There is nothing in game that will tell you exactly which missions you have completed and which you have not. Just a 34/43 quests for area X. Nothing that tells specifically which quests have been completed and vise versa. And I love how the no addons crowd always goes back to the same thing, EVERYTIME. I'm sorry son, most of the stuff that is being asked for on here pre-dates WoW by half a decade. Find some new underhanded insult, the WoW one is VERY played out.

You're surprised? I know I have tended to be rather hard on Zeno, but if you're designing a game, you inventory the function's you need as a minimum starting point. I swear to god, Zeno is just stumbling around blind and thinking about these things only after people complain.

    here is what i suggested:

    Hello,
is it possible to create a quest log ? An addon that tracks started quests?

I mean, when I accept the quest "A Council of Thanes" this addon should simply write in a sort of notepad (maybe TiNote) "A council of Thanes - Accepted"
    That would be enough.

    Optional:
"A Council of Thanes - abanoned" if i abandon the quest and
"A Council of Thanes - finished" when the quest is completed

    Thank you.

I would so use this add-on!

I clicked on this thread in the vain hope that perhaps one had been made.
    NA Mega-server
Basilthwaite - male Nord Templar Ebonheart Pact (unwittingly looks like Hulk Hogan. Trying to find some bright gold breeches to match the persona.)

Arwen Basilrond - female Wood Elf Nightblade Aldmeri Dominion (this character is smoken', but she's been advised to quite due to 'elf reasons!)

Sir Basil Ozarian - male Imperial Dragonknight Daggerfall Covenant (this character is titled, but not entitled!)

@Kentarii‌ you should find a way to let people with esohead.lua to auto add their complete quests into your addon... i can't figure how to do it alone

I'd love to see a "completed quest log" add-on. It does seem like many people are having trouble getting 62/62 quest completion in Shadowfen. I am at 60/62 and have been everywhere, trying to find those last two. In most other regions, the achievement is awarded with another 5-10 quests still available.
