Nowhere Key

Ok so this is the third time that I am doing the Thieves Guild quest line and I get to the part where I have to go into the ruins with the ghost to look for the person that has one of the keys, He yells there he is so I attack him to get the key ( in the first two he got away because he ran). This time I was able the keep up to him and kill him. He had the nowhere key on him so I got it,

So here is the problem: I had to steal the key and the quest did not acknowledge that I had it. It shows as needing to be laundered but the person in the guild that does that will not launder it.

Why can't I use it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok next I go to get another nowhere key in the mines ( I think that what is is) and when I get to the key Seline thnks I already have the key and says to use the sluse gate but doesn't stop the acid so I can't open the box and die from acid.

I got a key today. It doesn't say it's a nowhere key. It's a something something planar key. The description just says to hang onto it and see what it turns into, presumably after the next update. I could not use the key. So my only option is to hang onto it.

The OP is talking about the keys from the quest. They are not the same that the Nowhere keys from the "wild" (like the one that you got today).

There is not enough information on any of these keys or the Guild Finder quest either.
