UI Issue

I'm not going to rehash an issue that I know a lot of folks have on NA, but to prevent it I maintain 5 guilds. That means it can get pretty busy in chat at times so to keep things organized, I use colors. Recently, I dropped my first guild (gold) to join a trials guild. This caused everyone to move up a slot. Since we don't have the functionality of putting guilds where it would make sense, I shifted the colors to match where my guilds now reside - only, they won't stick. Now, every single time I log on or switch characters I have to reset my colors and I do mean EVERY SINGLE TIME. It's beyond frustrating. I've tried addons, no addons - whatever it is, it's the UI. A friend of mine has tried to adjust the opacity of the chat box so he can see it better and is struggling with the same type of issue - it continues to reset back to default every time he relogs. Someone else was complaining of a similar issue yesterday during a trial. I don't know what is going on or how to fix it but it's definitely working my last nerve. It might seem petty, but when you're used to seeing a guild talk to you in a specific color and you're tuning out another guild's chat because you don't hang with them as much, it becomes problematic. Please please please help!
