Lucent Orb

The Lucent Orb has been broken and how did the orb get broken? The pre-dated information about the Lucent Orb is not completely understood, so using speculation, could the orb be related to the Orb of Vaermina? The only orb found was taken to the Grand Gallery of Tamriel nearby the Dreamstride to study, does that fit the lore with the Lucent Orb history? I did not see much history about the Lucent Orb, so is there anymore information about the story of the orb? The orb was found in Fargrave, was the orb stolen, was the orb being studied by the daedra and they broke the orb or did a group break the orb?

To me I think this orb connected to Ithelia rather than Vaermina – more lore or the history of this Orb as well I believe can be found within the Trial of the Lucent Citadel to these other questions – if there are ones who did this trial to learn more of the lore and recorded it somehow..

The lore books found in the Lucent Citadel don't mention too much information, although one book in particular provides source material for the lore page:

It's not "the" Lucent Orb, it's "a" lucent orb. Just a regular part of Fargrave made of Mirrormoor shards. It's not some unique relic.

I think it's size makes it a little bit unique, no? All the other orbs we encounter (including the Scrying Orb in the Deadlands) are a fair bit smaller.

I begin to wonder what lucent means in all these orbs that come from Fargrave now – I see this Lucent Orb as being unique in that it can be mirrored/duplicated using alchemy and as being translucent so could these Lucents that not much is known of as yet – except maybe as a type of energy source - create different reactions in these shards (orbs) of Fargrave/Mirrormoor.

I like what is mentioned in this lore of Lucents -

Lissinia Cattalus, a mage and scholar, tried to split the difference with her "Mundial Emanation" theory. She proposed that "Oblivion magic" is the residue of the et'Ada's act of creation.
