Wildfire Embers breaks animation for Engulfing Dragonfire

Haven’t seen this posted yet. I have a 1bar DK using Engulfing Dragonfire. Using Wildfire Embers new class mastery. As soon as a mob dies during the channel (the first one if there are multiple) the fire animation stops. The channel continues, as does the damage, but can’t see any of it or when it stops. Taking off Wildfire Embers fixes it. I am using Deadly Strike and Highland Sentinel sets with Verothi.
