    have you tried using the quickbarmenu?

    You can use food or drink, either/or, from my personal experience. There are unique recipies, however, that have more effects on them, so keep your eyes pealed.

    Not to hijack this thread but I believe this is correct, you can only have one potion or food effect (other than instants that restore) going at once. I thought I would be able to load up on them so initially I chugged a bunch of different pots and ate a number of different foods and the only one that showed up was the last one.

    I understand the reasoning but it would be nice to have both one food and one effect going at once because they are from different sources.

    No, you cannot. Only one of the buffs can be used at a time.
