Still cant open Launcher

So through the early access and now the launch i have a game i want to play extremely bad but still cant open due to a launcher issue. Do we know when my game goes from a $65 paper weight to my favorite game out lol. If this helps at all im running Windows 7 64bit and will post the specs of my comp below

Have you tried right clicking and running as Administrator or re-installing the install client setup you downloaded from the account page? Your launcher files may have been corrupted.

Have you tried with your firewall and Antivirus completely disabled? You should also check if they run background processes even if they are disabled as that will still cause issues.

yeah i have all but deleted Norton and i have tried to re download off the web sight and as soon as it gets to the launcher it just stops and shuts its self down. Im at a loss as to what i can do to get the game to update so i can play.

Alright could you provide a bit more information as to what's happening?

Are you able to open the launcher or does the launcher not open when you attempt to launch it from the shortcut?

So when i click on the Icon or try it from the file in the C:\ the ESO symbol will come up on the run bar in the bottom right. It will stay there for about 30 sec and then just disappear as if i had closed the program myself. Only every once in a great while will it actually open something but that something is always frozen (Launcher, Downloader, Exc). I have tried just about everything i have forund in a thread like running as administrator, deleting launcher file and trying to redownload, but ill try just about anything lol

Well let's try a clean boot. It'll let us know if there may be a program or process interfering with your Launcher. Please try the following steps:

1) Click Start, and type msconfig on the search box
2) Right click on the msconfig.exe program and choose Run as administrator
3) To place your computer into selective start up:
a. On the General Tab at the top, click on the Selective startup radio button
b. Uncheck "Load startup items"
4) Click on the Services tab at the top
a. On the Services tab check the Hide all Microsoft services check box at the bottom
5) Click the Disable all button at the bottom
6) Click Apply, then click OK
7) Restart your computer
8) Launch the game

Ok so when i did that it actually opened the launcher but there was not a progress bar it was just frozen on updating. But then i tried to log back on to Chrome and it would not let me get back on the the internet either via chrome or IE chrome told me something about a proxy server issue. so i dont know what else to do

I should mention i am only slightly computer literate. installing a PSU or a graphics card, no problem i can help you. but when it comes to software issues i get lost quicker than a 3rd grader learning physics lol

My version of the game says 1.0.0.727772. Now im sure that that is not the correct version of the game and that's why every time i try to log in it just times out. I find that out by going to the game in the exe file
