How does Tome-Bearer's Inspiration work?

The description says "Each pulse enhances your class abilities" - enhance how? fixed amount or percentage? add or multiply? And which class abilities if players subclass?

yeah they sound like stupid questions but i can't seem to find any answer.

    every 3 or 5 seconds (depending on morph) it adds an extra burst of dmg to your class abilities and generates a crux if you have none (it says this in the skill)

    im assuming it works with any class skills not just arcanist because it just specifies class skills (templars solar barrage has a +5% dmg to "class" skills and that for sure works with other classes abilities)

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (fully filled out with current game), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    so the pulses are likely giving flat enchancement, not stacking? i.e. first pulse +5%, second pulse => +10%, third pulse +15% and so on?

    No, the pulse is just flavor text to make it sound lore appropriate. At least that's my understanding.

    You cast the skill and it gives you a buff. While you have that buff, your class abilities will inflict another hit of magic damage and generate crux (if you had none) up to once every 5s with the base morph. Inspired Scholarship morph increases the frequency that this additional hit of damage can apply, from every 5s to every 3s. Recuperative Treatise keeps the 5s from the base skill but adds magic and stamina resource restore to you upon inflicting the extra damage hit with a class ability.

    At least that's how I understand it to work, but I agree that the skill is not well described in game and I too found the "each pulse enhances your class abilities" line confusing.

    Edit: and yes, this works with any class ability that I'm aware of and currently is being used to great effect in PvP, one example is a combination of Inspired Sholarship, Crystal Weapon, Shattered Path's Signet, and Threads of War which effectively make a single light attack inflict 4-8 damage ticks at the same time.

    Yes. Anything that says it works with "Class Abilities" works with any ability from any class, it does not work with weapon skills, guild skills, alliance skills, or soul magic skills.

    If a skill is specific to abilities from one class it will say so, like Grave Lord's Sacrifice which buffs DoTs from any source but direct damage only from Necromancer skills.
