Antiquity Delete Option

Attn Devs:
I think I seen a post of this nature once back in 2023 so I figured I would do an updated post to see what option may be available in the "near future" to remedy this situation.

I would like to say I appraciate the extention of the lead times!!! It is wonderful when you get a good lead and not have to stress about missing it because it expired before you can scry it.

With that being said, it is a double edge sword when you get leads that you have done MULTIPLE times and no longer care to have. I LOVE firnishings and I love scrying but not all furnishings are particularly ones I want to keep.

So it leaves me with 2 options, take extra time that I dont care to spend doing them to only turn around and destroy it because its bound OR wait for it to expire. I was letting them expire and then not worry about it. BUT NOW we have the WONDERFUL lead extention times, I have to go through a laundry list of leads that will now sit for a YEAR or do them when I would rather be doing something that I enjoy doing in the game.....not to repeat something Ive done 20 times where there is no benefit.

Could you PRETTY PLEASE give us an option to abandon the lead, like we do a Scry or a Quest. This way it can still drop again and not mess with the system too much but give us a choice thats better than the current. Not sure if this could be the next update? Obv not 50 because thats about to launch but the one after it?

Thank you for your time and if anyone knows who needs to be tagged to get attention and feel the same way please share. Onward and Upward my Friends

I'd love to be able to HIDE leads. That way it declutters our leads list, plus we're also assured that unwanted leads will not drop again for another 6-12 months, which enables other leads to drop.

I don't mind if the is an option to delete of hide as long as it is not easy to accidentally click on it.
I love getting the antiquities, while I rushed to get my main fully skilled up; I don't go out of my way to hunt down old ones, I always have an unskilled character training each level of the skill "Antiquarian Insight".

Except for my main, when I get then a character up to having trained "Keen Eye: Treasure Chest 2", I free all the skills except find treasure. I now have 13 of my 20 characters that can see nearby chests glowing and I've I haven't gone out of my way to do so.

When I'm just running around normally, it's a little fun bonus when bonus I find an antiquity (especially the purple ones), because it means, yet another of my characters is getting closer to getting their Keen Eye for Treasure!

if you delete a lead, that means that you could just as easily get it again lol

thats what happened before for leads i didnt care about with the shorter expiry timers, i would end up just getting the lead again anyway

Let us delete leads, and let us opt out of obtaining certain ones

This falls into "is this really something to prioritize?" category for me. As I already guessed, the next complaint would be about getting leads again you already deleted.

I don't find it that hard to ignore leads I'm not interested in, even if the list is long.

Just give us a separate category for leads that still require codex entries and don't count ones in there against the limit. That way they don't drop anymore and are removed from the loot pool until they expire and they don't clutter our lists of leads to do.

Can also let us pin leads so that we can further highlight stuff we want in case we don't want to get leads we don't have full codexes for, for whatever reason.

Let all categories be toggled from view.

Yes, that's why I wouldn't delete an unwanted lead. I know they'd just drop again, and in places like IA, or recent DLCs, where lead chances are diluted across a massive loot pool, I really want to exclude unwanted leads from dropping again.

Hiding an unwanted lead would be the best option for me. Pinning wanted leads to the top of the list would be good too.

Honestly, this is like putting a band-aid on a severed limb. The whole lead UI is awful to use.

For those that can I highly recommend an addon called Lead List.
