REQUEST: NM Argent/Dungeon/Trial slight change

I recommend the change that we can stack keys. Right now we get 1 key from argents which opens dungeon, 3 dungeon completes a gold key for trial. however when done you have to then go back through and redo the argents, dungeons again. You can fill up the whole screen with keys but when you do a dungeon, the linked argents are again needing to be killed for keys. If you on the other hand, farm argents for keys, stacking them up with numbers next to the key for that argent, and same with the dungeons, then players can run dungeons over and over as long as they have needed keys in their stacks. I recommend a max of 10 keys per stack so this doesn't go overboard.

I think this is the best way of doing it. If you permanently unlock the dungeons and trials, then you risk having no one in the districts when someone who hasn't done them is trying to unlock them for the first time

Argent keys should just be removed. Getting the relic is all that should be needed to enter the dungeon as many times as you want - but a cooldown would need to be instigated to prevent boss farming. I'd suggest 30 minutes.

I like the stacking keys idea, though 10 is far too much.

The goal of the Night Market is to encourage switching between the zone, the Dungeons, and the Trial, and so if players can stack 10 keys, it'd just be encouraging them to hoard from each tier and not actually climb up and down the Night Market "ladder".

I think 3 is a much more reasonable number. It still lets you stack enough for 3 Trial runs back to back, but would still steer you to re-engage with the zone content sooner.

Yeah, I think starting with 3 or 5 would be good and then bump it up as necessary.

I think stacking keys would be much much better, but I think it would be more enjoyable if there was an achievement for killing all the Night Market bosses that granted you access to the dungeons and trial without needing keys. That saves groups from having to constantly ask if everyone has keys and players being excluded when they make a mistake and don't have every key they need. It also encourages players to re-run the dungeons and trials, because currently I feel like I'll do the minimum amount of runs to get what I want and then stop grinding keys to keep doing runs. It might end up difficult for later NM players to form a dungeon/trial group if we're all like "nah, I did that grind last time... "

I understand if the devs wanted the key system to keep players in the main market areas to enable easy grouping, but I wonder if they could replace key farming with something different that was also desirable.

Interesting idea. Hopefully Zos tries this or something similar. It shouldn't be infinite entry once a player has cleared a boss as some have suggested but a change would ease what's probably a little too much friction.

Just had a thought, could have the number of stackable keys related to the amount of favor gained

    1-2500 1 stack
    2500-5000 2 stacks
    5000-7500 3 stacks
    7500-10000 4 stacks
    10000-15000 5 stacks
    15000-25000 6 stacks
    25000 onward 7 stacks

This would encourage constant zone content runs. I'd be surprised if anyone could reach 25k favor, but 10k is reachable ( I did that yesterday without any portent potion )
