Do Inactive Guild Members affect results in the Guild Finder?

Hello everyone, I have run a small Guild for a long time and only wondered today why I might not be getting much recruitment from the Guild Finder section. My friends and I have a pretty casual approach to the game and enjoy running the harder content too. With the Night Market active this would be a great opportunity to add more people. There is only about a regular handful of 10, I would say, active members online but I have a lot more than that listed. I assume that maybe having a larger % of inactive members compared to active ones might be putting my Guild lower down in the listings?

Any help appreciated.

from my experience in the guild finder, there is no way to see who is in your guild or offline times (just a total number)

if you are running a trader guild, typically higher overall number of people in guild is better, if its a more focused guild (casual, trial focused, dungeon focused, or RP etc) then numbers in the guild usually dont matter as much

i am in one of those types of guilds you run where theres a large list but it feels on avg about 10 +/- a couple are active at any given time (typically leaning more towards prime time), and every once in awhile i see an application come in for it

i think the biggest issues is just the guild finder itself, the filtering/searching tools are not the best and i can only imagine how many guilds are actually listed

another thing is that there are options which allow the user to filter for number of people in the guild, or sort on number of people in the guild (cant see actual active/inactive members just counts still)

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (fully filled out with current game), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

in progress: acquiring mundus stones (currently only have the thief)

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

Thank you very much for your insight. I think I will have a look through and get rid of some of the inactive members which were lasted logged in... almost 10 years ago😅

We are definitely not trader focused but we do like selling the good loot we come across. Keeping enough members to keep this option available to us should be good😊
