What's the new trend in builds?

I haven't made a new build in many months and was wondering what is currently popular/in demand in terms of builds these days on ESO? Last I remember, crit was was the most important stat for dps. I did see DK got a new update and have already been testing things there. But one other thing I saw was that pure class builds are now being rewarded, so is that the new thing, making pure class builds?
I can make a new build for my DK, Necro, or Templar, so I am considering which. So far my idea is to make a 'fire and ice' build (ice furnace, etc), as well as a DK BG PvP build. But maybe a pure class build as well? Which of all the classes have the best pure class builds lately?
Just want to get up to date in terms of builds! Excited about all the new things in ESO! Please let me know what you think!

Just check out Skinnycheeks for PVE. His builds and ideas are up to date. For PVP, YouTube is always the best bet as there are more options for one's particular play style

If you mean PvP, then a pure DK is very strong right now. You can safely try different builds on a DK. I haven't seen a pure Templar for 2 months, they are probably too weak for the current meta. A pure Necromancer is currently the most nerfed and unplayable class. I have tried all possible builds and sets, but nothing helps. In fact, a Necromancer is a free frag right now. Nightblades and Sorcs are also doing reasonably well. They are certainly weaker than DKs now, but you can play them. Unfortunately, I don't know about the other classes. Although if you are not playing in Cyrodiil, IC, and at high MMR in BGs, you can play with any class. For example, at low MMR in BGs, you can even play as a Necromancer.
