The Environment Can Be Your Armor

I found something interesting in a dragon fight. The dragon landed on top of a tower -high ground- fire everywhere, chaos like always. Most players would stay back or try to outlast the damage.
Instead, I found a tree. I stood just behind it and kept firing. The dragon attacked – fire, flame and everything – but it never touched me.
Not because I was stronger.
Not because I had better gear.
Because the tree was between us. That’s when it hit me.… the environment isn’t just something you fight in.
It’s something you fight with. One step to the side, and I would’ve been burned. One step behind cover and I could attack freely.
Same fight.
Different outcome.
I didn’t change my build.
I changed my position.
And that changed everything.
