Dungeons Ever Slow Down / Get Difficult?

I really want to like this game but it just seems like everything is a steamroll.

Nothing feels significant because nothing is difficult. Sure meta builds kill "faster" but my gawd how fast do we need to go?!?

I thought maybe when I got to veteran dungeons that things would finally slow down a little and Roles (Tank, Healer, DPS) would finally matter, but nope. Those seem to just always be a steamroll as well.
I like playing support rolls, such as tank or healer, but this game seems to have almost no content that roles matter. everything is just rush to the end as fast a possible and everyone just dps...

Is that the whole game?!

Yes and no. Veteran DLC does need a tank. Some content needs a healer but not all of them. Across endgame, DPS is the focus. Even trials will have one tank and/or one healer be hybrid DPS or be full DPS for a fight. That said, tanks do have unique mechanics and skillsets in veteran and hard mode dungeons and trials. Healers can have unique mechanics, depends on the content. Some content can be quite difficult as a support.

I wish my random vet dlc's went that way, I do get some solid groups and no deaths on occasion. I've resorted to doing hybrid healer builds and still pull 30-50%+ of the dps sometimes.
