Got disconected then tried to reconect and it failled and now I am in a 3hrs queue to log in

But!...
The real problem this game faces are the servers and how they manage the maintenance of this game. Simplest way to put it: Your servers can't handle it! You can't handle it! This at least on PC-EU side but I believe it is a common problem. It was some time ago when they said they have renewed the hardware and server issues should be fixed and latency issues too. That was not how it went. I do not know the real situation concerning the servers, that is only for the company people to know. But I do understand somewhat these IT-things and I can tell that this is not acceptable situation. We the customers are suffering too much for latency issues, server crashes, maintenance downtimes, login ques... Too much taking in note that the year is 2026. I would not lay blame, but I wouldn't be amazed to learn if they choose to "cheap out" on server hardware. I know they are costly to keep up, but certainly this game makes money for the company.
I mean, other similar games like ESO works without such problems. Every game has some, but not on this scale.
We are also expecting that this new road of ESO will lure in more players and I can see at least on twitch numbers that the interest towards ESO has risen comparing to later years. How will these servers endure the possible rise of this wanted activity boost when it is already struggling. I would like to see an honest post from the company about this matter and how they are going to fix the issue, because that is more than clear, we have an issue.2 -

Probably money.
Hosting ain't cheap and even though they are part of MS they are not going to get resources allocated 'for free'.
Getting the servers to work properly as VMS is likely to require changes to the code, I doubt is a matter of imaging them and then spooling up the image, which again means... money.
Maybe if they can sell the idea to MS as 'part of Copilot' they might listen /s0 -
The problem we face on PC EU can't be solved by simple transition to Azure Cloud. EU servers are in a kind of slave mode. The master character data base is in the US and they beam your char across the ocean when you try to log in. As a result we have login problems every time that link becomes unstable.0 -
