Crazy weirdness in Scalecaller Peak

Working on Scalecaller Peak tri today and that first ogre pair boss was doing this wild attack where the middle boss would start firing off his ice auto-kill bursts about 3 seconds into the fight with no ice pillars to hide behind. Insta wipe, nothing you can do. We broke group several times, reset dungeon, tried different roles, tried waiting a bit before doing damage, nothing seems to help. We have never seen this before today and we saw it probably five times today before switching to a different dungeon. Anyone know what's going on?

That's actually a pretty common bug for that boss.

We don't have any solid leads on why it happens, but it most commonly happened if the group started attacking the bosses immediately before the dialogue was done. The current theory is to pause before that boss and let Jorvuld finish talking before the tank grabs them.

Jorvuld needs to crouch down first. Once he’s kneeling, tank can pull. Oddly, this only seems to happen in a group— I was pulling it on normal solo before he was crouched and everything was fine. Brought in another person, pulled on normal before he crouched and the mechanic went off immediately.

What I remember from when we did tri years ago . The boss bugs out if you start the fight before the npc is there. We waited till the npc arived. Not sure about the dialogue. But might as well wait for the dialogue to be sure.
