Night Market only until June 17th?

I’ve been searching through forums, YouTube, and elsewhere trying to understand this new Season 0, because I’m really interested in buying it.

But now I’ve noticed this: “...available in the Night Market from April 29th until June 17th.” And that just raises more questions for me.
So, are you (ZeniMax) selling this new Season 0 with the new market zone only until June 17th?
  • What happens after that?
  • Does the market get disabled?
I don’t really understand how this new Season 0 works.

From what I can tell, it seems like I can pay to get some cosmetics and currency, and access the Night Market from April 29th until June 17th. Simple as this??

So it actually feels even worse now. We can pay up to €29.99 to get all those “Premium” rewards… but some things just don’t seem fair.
For example; I already have 3000 Transmute Crystals. That means I’ll basically lose the Premium ones, the ones I’m paying for?! No sence.
And €29.99 to receive things like purple crafting items? I mean… please don’t get me wrong, but so far this really feels like nothing more than a scam system.

I’m serious, I want to buy Season 0, I really do. But… is this some kind of scam?
Of course, ZeniMax isn’t scamming anyone, it’s just a way to put things clearly on paper. But… What exactly is it that we’re paying for?

    EDIT:
All of this seems so wrong that even ZeniMax wouldn’t take it back after getting rid of it.

If you buy the tome upgrade, you are paying for cosmetics. The Night Market will be available regardless of whether or not you buy anything. It'll be available for play until June 17th this time, and it'll come back again later in the year.

The only reason the buy the tome upgrade is if you want the cosmetics from it. All forthcoming playable content in the game will be made available to everyone.

So… the €29.99 Premium + Bonus gives access to all premium rewards, two caches of Tome Points, and a unique cosmetic.
What about the €14.99 Premium? What exactly does it include?

From what I gathered the Premium unlocks the premium tiers of rewards on each page. And the Bonus one only adds two caches of tome points and the costume. Seems like a steep price for a costume, but maybe the tome points will seem worth it once we get towards the end of the season and I'll see rewards I want but will have too little points. At them moment that doesn't seem likely.

The Night Market is a (currently) separate event within ESO (think similar to Jubilee, Witches festival, New Life, etc.).

It will be available from 29th April until 17th June, for it's first run. ZOS has currently planned for 2 more runs of this event with the possibility for more in the future and some mention of maybe making a version of it into a permanent feature within the game if players really like it.

The Night Market will be available to everyone for it's duration, regardless of the status of their tamriel tome.

Nobody needs a premium tome (or even engage with the tome at all) to participate in the Night Market.

The $30 one is only for the costume + instant rewards and bonus points to clear the tome faster. If you don't care for the costume, and don't mind earning your way, all you need is the $15 one, that gives access to all pages.
    Hoping for more playable races.

I just want werewolf to be viable in endgame PvE T.T (which not allowed according to PTS update 50)

    A) the night market will come back at least twice so you can experience all the factions
B ) they might make it permanent depending on feedback

What about the €14.99 Premium? What exactly does it include?

it literally says on the screen what you get.

Premium Rewards main rewards = the Personality, the Duo Spider and the Day/Night wolf mount. (you can actually view every reward from the premium tier of the pass on the other screens which include multiple currency/scrolls/boosters etc).

Bonus = Two Caches of Tome Points, and a Unique cosmetic.

The only thing which isn't clear is if the unique cosmetic is the costume shown to the right of the | symbol or something else.

Nowhere does either purchase reference that you need to buy it to access the Night Market and ZOS have said multiple times you don't.
They have also described that the Night Market will be a recurring content but with gaps. Rewards are handed out at the end of the 'Campaign' for the Night Market based on your chosen factions performance.

The Night Market is totally separate from tomes. Everyone has access to it regardless if you bought the premium tomes or if are just doing the free one. The zone is open to everyone to attend. It is available for a limited time to refresh it and let everyone choose a new faction if they want the next time it rolls over. So it will come back again eventually after it is gone. When that is, we still do not know yet.

For the premium vs premium+bonus question:

Premium: Gain access to all premium rewards as you unlock each page.

Premium+: Gain access to all premium rewards as you unlock each page AND you get two caches of tomb points as well as a Raynor's Traveling Robes as a bonus cosmetic.

For the OP, you do not need to buy the Premium Tome in order to access the Night Market zone; everyone gets it. You only need the Premium Tome if you want to be able to purchase the rewards in the Premium tier within the Tome.

Yes, the Night Market is going to run for about six or seven weeks and then will turn off. It will come back again in Season Two (again, Premium Tome not necessary access it) where it will run for another few weeks. Maybe it comes back again in a future season, maybe not, maybe gets turned on permanently, all of that is unannounced at this point.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

Only 2k points transfer to the new tome at the end of the season. Each tome has its own challenges afaik. But, we won't know for sure until the new one comes out.
