[Infinite Archive] Using Shadowy Disguise resets Stage

My main character is Bosmer Nightblade and I'm currently farming Infinite Archive.
I used Shadowy Disguise to buff myself before every wave starts.
How to reproduce it?
Press Shadowy Disguise and go invisible inside blob of roiling ink and watch stage resets.
Enemies actually spawn and stay for 1-2 sec, and then despawn as stage resets like when you die.
Long version
If you use Shadowy Disguise before 1st wave or in between waves like 1-2 or 2-3 there is 2/3+ chance that Stage is going to be reset.
Getting reset when the 1st wave start is "all right" but before the 2nd and the 3rd is especially frustrating in later Arcs for many obvious reasons.
Skill is basically useless in IA, and I had to stop use it after wave 1.
And it doesn't matter if I play solo or in duo (other player or companion).

The cowardly Wood Elves are best noted for their unwillingness to engage in a face-to-face attack; a Bosmer will strike at you from every side except the front. You won't cross swords with a Bosmer, but you might catch an arrow in the throat. Be wary in forests and jungles, and watch your back.
