I noticed that from the defensive skills from companions, this one gives major resolve and not 20% damage reduction like others such as isobel, bastian and even ember. Any reason for this or is it supposed to be 20% as well?

Asking since when wearing heavy armor the major resolve is pretty much wasted, making him objectivelly less tanky compared to others.
