Hi all! I've been having some new issues, wondering if anyone else was having a similar experience. Three days ago my game started crashing during normal play. I got the usual message "Game Crash Detected," and was unable to get back in. I play on a Macbook Pro 2021 with an M1 max through Steam. I've had no trouble before then. I have not made any other changes to my computer. I get the following error:
Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
Exception Subtype: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x0000000000000000
Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000001, 0x0000000000000000
Termination Reason: Namespace SIGNAL, Code 11, Segmentation fault: 11
Terminating Process: exc handler [1961]
Since this started, I have tried the following:
- repaired my game files
- confirmed the integrity of my game files via Steam
- deleted everything in my AddOn and SavedVariables folders
- updated my OS to Tahoe 26.2
- uninstalled and re-installed the game
I'm now able to get in to the game and play normally or about 3 minutes before I crash again and get the same message. Wondering if anyone else has been having issues, and any guidance at this point would be appreciated.
