Doshia orbs bugged

jarbarhead
So, I know this is supposed to be a difficult fight, and I appreciate that. But the orbs are both difficult to see as well as incredibly frustrating to hit.

I don't know what's up, but my cursor needs to be at a very specific point in the middle of the orb or something for my attacks to register on them. This is really difficult when they're stacked and moving, while I'm trying to avoid her weird cone attack. On top of that the orbs will bug out and spawn ontop of her, which really can't be helped.

I mean I'd be able to down her easily if my attacks would register. Is anyone else having this problem?

That fight is a pain.. and I had the same problem with it, but what I did to make it easier.. when she spawns the orbs, run toward the furthest one first, she will follow you which gives you some cushion to deal with the close ones.

I agree with madviking, I found it easier to start running to the furthest ones. She follows you thus giving you time to circle back and take down the others.

I'm also having a hard time with this boss making me feel like I'm bad at combat, I play as a Dragonknight. I'm trying to improve, it just seems that there is an issue with the frequency with which she summons orbs. Does the frequency increase as her health depletes? Also there may be a lag issue, and this fight is extremely unforgiving if you suffer from any lag. Granted I'm a casual player that only has an hour or so on a weeknight and a few hours on the weekend due to other responsibilities. I think that I'll just go hunt for more Skyshards and find some quests and get her when I'm over powered.

And I died a thousand deaths....
It is hard but I, too, found hitting the furthest away orbs was more effective for your own health gains. At the beginning I pulled her out of her tight platform so I would have more room to 'dance' with her. My character was a lv11 Dragonknight and I was finally able to slay her solo.

I just kept attacking Doshia, wait for her to transform, run backwards in laps around the central platform shooting ranged attacks back at her, occasionally an orb will heal her, and it draws the fight out for awhile, but I haven't died on this boss yet with 3 different classes from beta to launch

Tab targeting helps a little bit in this fight op. It gives you a little more leeway with where your cursor is.
