Now that we have a companion for each class, and even one with a Soul skill line ult, is there any reason why players couldn't have access to player-versions of such skills, balanced accordingly?
They can be integrated seamlessly into each class, with multiple ult choices.
- Mirri's arrow into assassination
- Bastian's ult into Ardent Flame
- Ember's ult in storm calling
- Isobel's ult in aedric spear / dawn wrath
- Azandar's ult into soldier of aprocrypha / hearld of the tome
- Zerith-var's ult into bone tyrant / grave lord
- Sharp's ult into Animal Companions.
- Tanlorin's Ult into soul magic.
It can be a bit annoying to see a cool skill but not able to use it.
As a personal pain point, it was always annoying to play a Dark Elf warden, summon all sorts of morrowind creatures, while my ult is a bear for whatever reason. And this got even more annoying after I saw my warden companion summoning a Kagouti with his animal companion ult.
As more and more companions show up, each skill line can eventually benefit from 2 ult choices. It makes leveling your companions feel more rewarding as well, rather than getting a somewhat-useful passive.
