When the guild trader system started in around early June 2015 for playstation, it was very exciting and fun; where I managed to bid for around 10k to 20k gold and got a trader in Glenumbra. However, it was short-lived. Slowly it evolved with large guilds having big resources bid with millions of gold, became out of reach to the smaller guilds. There's "merger and acquisition" of guilds including affiliations as well. Next, is certain flavour of monopoly and price fixing. Downstream to sustain, guild recruitment requires fee, due, donation or "guild culture" in some form with some vague recruitment mentioned free guild trader only to realise after joining it was not the case. It was not fun to play with all these barriers especially for new guild or player; how to get millions of gold to sustain. Who will know and travel to a very remote guild trader to shop compare to the high traffic ones held by large guilds.
Guild trader system needs a rework. Give all players/guilds a chance and fun play experience. Thank you for reading.
