I read your post. I implied that you may as well take the time to do it by yourself, the way you would in a Story Mode. Because it is fully feasible.
To me this is just learned helplessness.

Story mode runs are being run in guilds and among friends. You have means to achieve you goals already.
I've done story mode runs with guildies for those that want to go through all the text options. But that's not me condoning selfish speedrunners that leave 3/4s of the group behind, that behaviour annoys me and I tend to vote to kick if they are too far ahead and pull people from boss to boss.

Why don't random speedrunners search and cooperate with like-minded, then wait for a certain time period when others are ready, and so on? Because they're already in a good spot: the system work for their advantage. Those who need the quests are in a disadvantage. It's natural for those who are in disadvantage to ask for something to make their life easier.
What baffles me is what you and others like you are doing here saying that the questers should go help each other and leave everything as it is now.
More to say, it's not about the quest lovers at this point. Even if you don't listen to every voice line of NPCs, and all you need is just a time to click through the lines and activate the quest stage to get the skill point, even in this case you just can't, because people run through without a blink. I'm currently leveling up a new character and experience it myself. Those 1200-2000 CP players just run forward alone not paying a slightest bit of attention to other people in the group. I just don't get it. Why are they such a... well, no offences here, but you know what I mean.
See, I'm playing this game since 2017, I've done normal dungeons solo absolutely naked without any CP allocated on level 25 characters just for fun, so I'm actually one of those who can easily run through them alone. But whenever I run a random normal I keep looking at the people in the group and whenever I see that someone stopped at the point where the quest dialog happens, I wait. Why do the others act like... censored? I don't understand. What I DO understand is that this people who need the quests absolutely have a right to ask for ZOS attention.

New toons need skill points. Of course you are going to complete the dungeon quest when you do RND with a new toon. And when that toon is level 50 most of the base game dungeon quests are completed. Unless you Skyreach/BRP power level the toon, but even then when you are doing RND you want the skill point anyway.
When a skill point is tied to a dungeon quest, it results in this. I have no idea about any of the base game dungeon story lines although I can solo those that are soloable. That's because I have collected the skill points already and the dungeon quests are not repeatable like trial quests are.
