Music Box, Glyphic Secrets - Rune Scribed Comb

I am painfully aware of the harshness of the RNG - 82 kills of Timbershade to get a lead, 73 kills of Voidmother Elgroalif to get a lead, among other horror stories - but I'm now well passed looting 100 coffers from the Bastion Nymic daily quest without a 2nd iteration dropping.



Has anyone had a 2nd iteration of this lead drop from the coffers?

Edit: I will add, my own experience is that leads from coffers tend to have a low drop chance, but that seems to increase once you collect all the other leads for an antiquity. I'm left wondering if that is not the case for this lead.

i think i bought at least one copy of this lead from the archive, it was offered on the rotation vendor within the last month i think

Im on 2nd iteration as well and just need the bastion nymic chest one to complete. Its horrible. I already gave up. Im just waiting for IA or tel var to drop thisz so I buy the last, excavate and then buy again for 3rd iteration

Sadly Ool has sold parts of the music box but not the comb. Neither has the Tel Var vendor. You may be thinking of the Rune Carved Key.

I have assembled only 1 box, and I'm currently at 7/10 for the second one. The Codex shows that I have 2 unlocked entries for the comb. So, apparently at some point I got the second one. It has been ages since the last time I visited the Bastion Nymic, and I have no desire to return there.

I'm not 100% sure, but i think the comb was from daylie-coffers in Telvanni-Peninsula.
2 Points: i never run Nymic and have just 1 lead left to catch. I'm waiting for a long time now that it appears at Ool (or the Tel'Var merchs). 7 leads did appear til now, but not the dark metal cubes, which i think must be the only one from Nymic.
(because i have all other leads and dont do the bastion - and iirc i got one from daylies).

Edit: and the comb wasn't at merchants also.

Edit: Ah, sorry - Bastion Nymic daylie coffer. Puh, then i dont know, where i get that lead from.
Edit3: Found it. Comb was at Ool in June 2024. I'm sorry.
