Plenty of space left ... if Bethesda let them:

That and various daedric realms but i guess it will get stale if you have a daedric invasion every year

To quote Mr. Incredible: "No matter how many times you save the world, it always manages to get back in jeopardy again. Sometimes I just want it to stay saved! You know, for a little bit? I feel like the maid; I just cleaned up this mess! Can we keep it clean for... for ten minutes!"

Edit: In answer to your question, I'd be happy not to have a new zone, but rather an extension of existing ones. Morrowind is missing a lot for example. Red Mountain area, Solstheim, the cluster of islands to the North. Plenty of gameplay to be had. Oh and Firemoth

I’d rather they kept to places that are completely new, right now I don’t trust that they’ll be able to do justice to the places that are prevalent in the lore.

I mean wasnt solstheim also in skyrim?

It was in the Dragonborn official addon.

There are lots of little gaps on the map, they could have lots of little zones where the main story occurs, or they can expand existing zones to give some more depth to them.

No more islands please, not even Solstheim. If they’re gonna do Skyrim again, and they should, it should be the one place we haven’t seen in its full glory, Winterhold. The city founded by Shalidor, whose wife also is the progenitor of the mages’ guilds streamlined spell crafting à la Scribing, and the founder of the college of Winterhold.

It’s a fraction of what it once was in Skyrim, so they can show how it used to look before Red Mountain erupting and or the Augur of Dunlain’s tampering or experiments caused the Great Collapse.
Zos then: Vengeance is just a test bro

Zos now: Do you want Vengeance permanent or permanent...

So, I really don't think we're going to get a new zone. Anything is possible but they said they want to tell new stories in old zones. That to me is code for the wanna add quests to old areas, maybe add more rooms into delves and the like, as they've done for other quests.

@Gabriel_H is correct though. There's plenty of things they could do with the room they have. Add sections to zones we have, by making the existing zone map smaller and adding that area. Fallout 76 does this, just did in fact. Made the map (the actual map you look at) smaller and added some Ohio on the other side of the river. They did the same down south last time. That's very doable. They could also move time forward and make an imperial city dlc. Not one that changes anything in IC now but something separate. Add on to murkmire or Skyrim though I have Skyrim fatigue.

We'll see what they do, we know the dark brotherhood plays a role but I'm eager to see how they justify 50 dollars without a for sure big zone with everything that entails, a trial and a new system. You know, the things that made it worth the price.
I can tell you, I'm eager to find out.

My prediction, they'll make the Gold Coast free like they did with Vvardenfell a few years back to get people into the Dark Brotherhood, and the new zone will be Winterhold/Dawnstar to make use of the pre-existing DB lore from Skyrim.

something related to the Dark Brotherhood.
    but it could be anywhere.
And we have plenty of extra areas. if we do not revisit old zones next year.

this map has all the current Tamriel zones with their names. Lots of empty space left.

    in Tamriel we have left
    - Morrowind. northern telvanni peninsula, Blacklight, and Tear.

    - Skyrim
Whiterun, Falkreath (city or not, the Hold is more than the dungeon has), The Pale, and Winterhold Holds. They could be 4 separate zones or combined into bigger zones.
i imagine they would all have Blackreach underneath as well.
    - the bit between Wrothgar and Western Skyrim. maybe Reach or all 3 regions at once like Reaper's March.

    - Hammerfell and its surrounding islands. so much left.
    - Black Marsh, unlikely right after Solstice though. East and Soulrest.
    - Cyrodiil, Nibebay Valley is the last bit.
    - Elsweyr, finally central elsweyr?

maybe we get more islands near Tamriel?
    - the 3-4 little islands south of Valenwood.
    - Solstheim.
    - Yokudan islands.
    - isle of Balfiera.

    Pyandonea?
it could even be several zones.

Since they teased the Dark Brotherhood earlier in the year, I can honestly see them adding in Sanctuaries around Tamriel and quests to go along with them, if they're not giving us a new zone. If we do get a new zone having to do with the DB, then I could see Dawnstar, as that's where we all know one is already.
