I agree 100%, too flashy that it's blinding.
I also have issues with all the ground aoe in the latest dungeons...there's almost nowhere to stand. Whybdoes everything have to be over the top.
I stopped playing GW2 because of the stupid trolls placing banners and other interactable objects on top of lootable chests after meta-events, but holy moly, I'm glad I stopped before this became a thingMeanwhile over at GW2:
I would absolutely love to be able to hide other people's effects, especially the circle from banners. I guess I'm not as mentally agile as I used to be but a screen full of flashing and swirling lights is very distracting especially when I'm trying to pay attention to mechanics.
