Gold Writhing reward coffers no longer dropping "special" loot.

I have several gold Writhing reward coffers from all sources (Charging the lens quest, siege camp quest, supply quests, and all 6 crafting quests) as well as dozens of the blue versions of these reward coffers. Now that Writhing Wall Phase 3 event has ended, these coffers are no longer dropping the "guaranteed once per day" loot items unique to the Writhing Wall event - Wormwrithe style pages, Writhing Haj Mota Scales, or Shards of Writhing Bone. This is very disappointing as I have saved up tons of these coffers to open until I get one of the special loot items each day. Every other in-game event I have participated in has allowed this - I was able to get the unique rewards from event coffers even weeks after the event had ended. Is this a bug or were the loot tables for these coffers altered once Phase 3 ended? If it's the latter, I wish we had been told and I would have opened all the coffers on the last day of Phase 3 at let RNG do its thing...

I think at some point recently it was changed so that you could not get these items from reward boxes after the end of the event. I did a quick search but I could not find anything about it. I hope someone here has a better memory than I do and can be more helpful.

They do still drop, but the guarantee drop was only ever for the motif pages.

I assume you mean the style pages. However, the gold coffers guaranteed one of the three items I listed, not just the style pages. See the original news post:

I'm still having this issue. As an example, here is the first coffer I have opened today, it is a Gold Writhing Reward Coffer from the Vitrified Souls quest which, according to ZOS's news post that I copied above, should be guaranteed to contain one of the unique items (Wormwrithe style page, Haj Mota pet fragments, or Caltrops skill style fragments.
