Question regarding the Black Friday Sale

Hi,
I have a quick question (sorry if this has already been asked): does it make sense to buy the 2025 Content Pass during this sale if I already have ESO+ and don’t plan to play Solstice this year? From what I understand, this content should be included in ESO+ next year anyway… or am I mistaken? All these new names for the same things are getting a bit confusing.

I'm pretty sure ZOS have confirmed it will be included in ESO+ when the next chapter/season pass/whatever they call it comes out, but I'm not sure where they said it so I can't give you a source.

If I was you though I'd wait. They've also confirmed it will be available in the crown store at the same time (when the next thing comes out) so worst-case scenario is you end up buying it from the crown store using ESO+ crowns.

I've thought about buying it, but I don't know if it makes sense to buy it right now that the whole event is over, or if I should wait to play it with ESO+

I guess it depends how they split it up, and if you actually want the four dungeons perm unlocked without ESO+. At this point I told guildy to just wait, I would in their shoes since event is over.

I could see the content pass on sale right now being a decent deal for someone who has finished the rest of the content, and perhaps has time over the holidays and really wants something to do in eso right now.

But imo Solstice simply doesn't have enough to offer and won't scratch that eso itch for long anyway. And with the wall event over now, the content pass has lost a portion of its value. I'd wait at this point.

(Though if they'd sold the content pass for about this price originally, I would've purchased it right away).

EDIT: Just wanted to add that I didn't discuss the dungeons being included in the pass... didn't even think about it honestly since I get them via eso plus anyway. So for me that doesn't really factor into the decision, but for someone who doesn't sub and enjoys dungeons and really wants those, the pass on sale would seem pretty worth it I suppose. I just don't personally think the zone itself is worth it.
