I have one house with fully attuned Grand Crafting stations.
If I bought more of the Grand Crafting stations for more of my homes, they should be attuned to the same spec's as my fully attuned one.
We should not have to start from scratch.
I agree. As long as the new master ones must be filled again, I will only have four of them in my primary residence, and that’s it. To complete these four took a considerable amount of time, gold and writs, so redoing all of that again is out of question.
I would like this to be the case, however I know a number of people who have gone through the grind two or three times, so don't see it happening. I was about to start a second run on this myself.
I have one run, and will never start another, or get another unless the OP idea is implemented. Unless...say I become a guild master of say 2 guilds. It's not the case.
But I think it's not the way ZOS think, so I think these kind of ideas are set to never be implemented, for the better or the worse.

You can never be the guild master of two guilds, but you can use any of your houses as the crafting place for as many guild as you like, even for guilds you're not a member of.
Keep in mind that a guild never owns anything, this game only knows player houses that can be entered by guild members.
