Writhing Wall Quest Question - Spoilers

I have two characters with the Skordo phase 2 quest. I took my character (has not completed quests in Western Solstice) went into the dungeon, completed then back to the camp. Quest is gone from Journal and the wall is still there. She no longer has a quest to bring down the wall.

My other character (who completed the West zone weeks ago) goes to the camp, Prince wants to chat, did what he asked and now the wall is gone for her only. She did NOT go into the dungeon.

I have run all over the place and there is no where to pick up any quests for the wall event. Is she doomed to see the wall forever? Not super happy there is no way for her to get the wall down.

Is it because she has not completed any quests in Western Solstice yet?

On PS/NA, I got credit for completing the Writhing Fortress on an alt that has not completed the Western Solstice main quest line. So I did the five Western Solstice zone story quest line, and got a quest pointer to interact with the Meridian Lens, and the wall faded away.
