ALT+TAB'ing puts Character into sneak (and out of it again)

Well, the title says it all. When I switch between ESO and the browser window, my char goes into sneak. It's particularly annoying when I had not TAB'ed out first, but TAB back into ESO from another window on another screen and end up in sneak. It started happening only just recently, I think it came with the animation "hotfix". Also, I would like to get rid of it.

Is it some "feature", or is it a bug, perhaps connected to the animations they screwed up (again)? Does it happen to anyone else here, too?
EDIT: And no, it's nothing to do with my keybinds.

It's caused by switching windows with ALT+TAB .

EDIT2: Kinda solved, for now. We found out that the new Discord overlay is causing it. Turning it off, cures the issue.

I have the same problem, but for longer than the animation hotfix, at least 2 months i guess.

I dont have this problem every time, but if the bug appears it cannot be fixed by switching char, logout or restarting the game.

I do. And due to your comment I tried replicating the issue with and without discord open. It only happens when Discord is open. That is weird. Do you happen to know more about it, perhaps?

Turns out that Discord's new overlay is causing the crouching issue with ESO, I'd keep using the legacy overlay

That's what I just found out, too. There was a Discord update recently, too, so maybe that's what caused it.

It happens on and off ever since Discord released their new overlay a few months back.

was a bit astonished, since today i go into sneak if i use alt tab to bypass the loading screen and go to google and back to the game
its a bit sickening, cause ive got sneak on strg

Change the options so discord doesn't start when windows does or make sure you quit discord from the systray. It's not an ESO problem, it's a discord one. If that still doesn't work try disabling any other overlays you might have like Steam.
