did shards of writing bone stop dropping?

i usually get 2 per day, usually 1 from a coffer and 1 from a siege chest. today i've had none and i've farmed a lot of siege coffers. maybe i'm just unlucky today

PC NA here. I normally get about 6 or 7 chests a day. Got two shards of writhing bone yesterday (bringing me to a total of 17) but none today. Not sure that's enough data to conclude anything.

Edit Update: Though none on Nov 12, did get 2 on Nov 13 - total of 19 now averaging about 6-7 chests a day.

I haven't gotten any in the last couple of days but I'm just doing the three golden chests, I assume they are dropping fine, it's just that a lot of other things can drop at the same time diluting the possibilities. Still, it would have been cool to get increased chances for the phase 2 things.

The drop rate is ridiculous and is worst as you can drop instead a shard for the pet instead (as I never drop both in a same box I feel like you get one or the other).

I never drop any in camp chest or in a blu reward box and can have days without drop any in golden reward box.

I got one today from one of my three gold boxes. PS/NA. I have had other days where I have gotten zero from the three gold boxes. YMMV.

I'm on PC EU and I've gotten 5 in TOTAL despite farming EVERY DAY during the entire event..!! Abysmal drop rates or just extremely unlucky RNG, insane either way...

Three on one account today, still going through second account but three so far.

Interestingly none from anything but crafting dailies and then only from blue boxes not the gold ones. I am doing the crafting dailies on multiple characters though, still need two more purple plans for my second account!

They stopped dropping altogether for me since the last patch.

I got one almost daily for 9 days (got 8), then nothing. Just treasure, set pieces and haj mota scales.

Edit: looks like they stopped dropping around the Nov 10 patch for me too.

I'm at ten total. Was mostly getting 1 a day, but now I'm at three days and counting without any. It feels like someone flipped a switch and they just... stopped.

Still flooded with Haj Mota parts...

I haven't had one drop in three days. I know rng will do rng things, but wish someone with a green colored name could look into this

I haven't had any drop for 3 days. Still getting the scales even though I finished the pet... helpful.

Got one tonight on XB-NA. Up to a grand total of (drum roll)... seven. Defo needs a higher drop chance to even out the feast/famine a bit.

I get 2-5 a day, usually more around 2-3 but I haven't been doing as many quests lately.

They are still dropping. I got a couple on PCNA last night from the chest that appears after you stop a siege camp incursion in Solstice. I was really happy to get them, especially from those chests, because I've been having rotten luck getting them from the quest-giver's reward coffers on PCNA, whereas I've been having much better luck on PCEU.

I'm at 11 of 25 .. dreadful drop rates of the shards .. even with the wall drop being brought forwards, we're still stuck doing the dreaded coffers and camps to get this style

the RNG on the skill style fragments is not great, theres even been days all 3 gold boxes continue to give me the haj mota fragments instead of skill style fragments, even though i finished the haj mota weeks ago

Wish they could summon a new vendor to the Rampart Camp who would exchange the extra haj mota scales for the bone shards.

An exchange vendor would work for lots of other events so that players could exchange for items they want/need and be happy - or you could go to the guild traders but wowza there are some huge price hikes out there (looking at you skeletal marionette parts for almost 500k for ONE, while grab bags during the once a year event are a poor choice for using scarce tickets).

They drop but not necessarily every day; on some days I was only getting scales.
I unlocked the style this morning, the last shard dropped from the siege chest.
