I found half of new map of Solstice today, but I can't go there. Why?

IN PC-NA, that's strange counter became 91.1% now. (Still I don't fully understand this system. )
However, one of my Lead location set in half of unopen world.

How to go half of island? Is this BUG?

The dig sites can appear on the walled off part of the island (Eastern Solstice). It's a known bug. The current workaround is to abandon the lead and rescry it until the dig site is in Western Solstice.

U48 which we got on monday added the other half of solstice, but its completely inaccessible until we get to phase 3 of the writhing wall event

at the rate current things are going, we might not get to access eastern solstice for another couple weeks at least even though it was added to the game days ago

I just want to know one thing. That phase counter is increased by developers, or player.
(We need to continue chore event until we'll fill the counter, or automatically reach the 100%.)

It's increased by players, but it's tuned by the devs so that it ends when they want it to. They already adjusted it three times to my knowledge; the first jump was within 2 hours of the event beginning, when it dropped back down from 1.6 to 0.9%.

The biggest change was a few days later when it jumped from 9% to 23%. This makes sense. At the start, everyone was running the event, so the rate was rising too fast. After a few days, when we realised how crap the rewards are, people started running only for the gold boxes, and the rate of progress dropped massively, so they had to tweak it to catch up to where it should be to fit their release schedule.

I wonder if there are people actually grinding all their challenges for the wall and are invested in this 'server battle'.

We paid for the second zone so eventually they have to unlock it, even nobody does dailies.

Most people I have heard just do their 3 golden boxes and do other stuff (witches event, endeavors daily dungeon etc.)

But for those who grind out all those wall dailies. Thanks for doing the work making the wait shorter by one or two days.
