Companion rapport not increasing

When I complete the Fighters Guild daily quest for Mirri and the Mages Guild daily quest for Ember, which should each give +125 rapport per day, there’s no rapport increase at all.
However, other activities still work normally — for example, Visiting the Brass Fortress for Mirri (+10) and Pickpocketing a guard for Ember (+10) both increase rapport as expected.
I haven’t tested this with other companions since all of their rapport levels are already maxed out, leaving only Ember and Mirri below max.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
