Can we just keep it in phase 2 after you bugged the update please. Event fatigue is real and nobody wanna play phase 1 for even just a minute longer. Thank you.

Too late, they changed it back to 85%.

Who can still believe that these percentages have any meaning if they randomly change - for the third time now? They could just drop them.

Phase 1 was supposed to have a shorter duration, it's already extremely boring...

They never have a meaning in an global event in any MMO. The timeframe is always pre-determined.

Yeah phase 1 is long overdue. One week was more than painful enough, now stretching it over 2 weeks. Please zos. Xbox eu won for all of us.

I don't see what the big deal here is. We understand that the event will conclude when the developers are ready, and the progress bar will be adjusted and tweaked as needed. This was blatantly obvious within two hours of the event starting.

As for the rest of it, all I would advise anyone doing is one siege, one craft and one fetch quest (or do the charging the lens quest at the same time as the siege), and that's it. Then go back and do whatever else you wish to do. That's all I do each day, I get the three gold boxes, then leave and forget them until tomorrow. There is no grind, and you get maximum rewards. The fact that the purple boxes contain almost nothing of value makes this choice very easy.

I have been retired from the USMC for about 30 years, disabled for that whole time, and just learned how VA Math works... no, I will not explain it here, but every American disabled Vet knows what I am talking about.

I guess that the folks at ZOS looked at Server Populations (perhaps active populations), multiplied them by the average number of characters per account, then again by some number between 3 and 24 (3 golden rewards to 24 possible quests per character), and again by the average number of days they wanted the event to last...

That number was adjusted when the progress was so slow... perhaps more than once...

The results show that PCNA has the highest population of players who are unwilling to endure the tedium to do the same boring quests over and over... I am guilty of this... I did 18 to 24 quests on several characters the first day... down to 18 on 3 after that, saw the progress, and felt quite defeated... as someone posted, it would take 400 days to finish the first part of the event... I am now down to 18 on 1 character...

Do I think the math for this event is like VA math? Yes, I do... but I would not want to see the lack of effort rewarded...
Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most...

I'm aware of that. I'm just questioning why we even have this "competition" if it's completely meaningless. Why such efforts on setting up all this if it doesn't matter?

What's also funny, but that's subjective, is that the way it's set up feels even more like an annoying wait compared to earlier years when they just gave us a regular release date for the q4 story content.

ZOS and the world events have taught me more about imaginary numbers than all my high school math teachers combined.
