Known Motifs

okay so i have a trouble with this. books names are khajiit, dark elves, etc. but when crafting it says dunmer, altmer, etc style.

how do i know if i want to buy a motif if i already have it or no ??

Go to a crafting station, scroll through the styles and see which ones say you need racial motif to do it. Khajiit style is still called khajiit style, dark elf is called dunmer, altmer is highelf, bosmer is woodelf.

sorry to break your balls here man, but i can see here at the crafting station there are styles called primal, barbaric etc...

could you please tell me how are all the motifs called and wich style they represent?? or a link where i can see it. i would really apreciate it. without the 3 you already mention. thank you.

If you try to craft in a different race's style, if you do not have the required type of material for that race, you simply won't have the option to craft in that style. However, if you do have the crafting material but have not read the required motif, the style choice will appear in red, indicating you cannot craft in that style. I hope that helps.

you dint understood my problem

for example some1 is selling in chat motif nr2 the woodelfs, i go to crafting station check what i have and it says dunmer, altmer, bosmer etc so i don't know if i have woodelf already or not so i don't wanna buy it for nuthing.

dunmer = dark elf, altmer = high elf and bosmer = wood elf

I think the source of your issue is not knowing what the different races are. Khajiit are just khajiit. nords are nords or nordic in some instances. argonions are just that. the mer races are where your probably getting confused. wood elves are bosmer, dark elves are dunmer, high elves are altmer, orcs are orsimer. i doubt youll need to know but the snow elves should be just that, snow elves, unless they chose the derogatory term falmer. if it becomes relevant the dwarves are dwemer. then of course there is daedric and barbaric.
