Can't get enough Furs or vitrified souls

Event with everyone running around killing anything that moved, I still picked up the souls and furs within 5-10 minutes. And, yes, you can do a bit of hunting outside the circle.

You can get the drops anywhere and everywhere, just kill the correct enemy type as explained in the quest description.

Same issue again today. On one account, I had to kill 18 daedra, which took maybe one minute, almost all of them had a drop, and I had my souls and was done. If this is how it worked for everyone, I don't think there would be complaints.

But on the other account I had to kill 190 daedra, because only about 1 in 16 of them dropped anything.

But yeah, totally working as intended. Totally user error. I just need to know the super secret ultra location I suppose. Can't possibly be that they continue to rely on a flawed rng system (or flawed loot tables, or something... I of course don't know how the programming actually works behind the scenes). Even after this same complaint came up in past events with similar "go do stuff and find the [widget]" dailies.

This event design ensures that some players will have a terrible experience.

With regard to the drops for Quartermaster Nurwalne, note that drops from an acceptable creature type anywhere in that alliance's zones count for the quest. Think about where certain creatures are found, and in what zones. For example, for "Covenant Undead Essences," the Crypt of Hearts I dungeon is largely populated by undead, who can all drop Undead Essences. And that instance will be exclusive to you.

There are several good places to find the appropriate creatures that are significantly less crowded than the marked locations, if you know where to look.

Also just tested again today, and doing the exact same thing I now got all souls in about 3 minutes. Something was definitely off yesterday, but (for me at least) it seems fixed now.

It only works if you get to the camp early. The false starting of camps makes it hard to do that. If you get there after one or two of the soul reapers are down, and only get to fight the main boss, you can’t get many vitrified souls.

I see huge variance in the number of vitrified souls my one character gets, anywhere from 0 to about 12. I just sat at one of them until it came up to complete the one quest of those I did today.
